Where have I been?!?!?!
Oh the things we must cat-ch up on!!!


#1- We have a new addition (imagine that) His name is Sonny, he's a rescue from my favorite kitty rescue, Fur-Ever Loved. Sonny is what I call my hoodlum from the streets of Harrisburg. He's badass in the "streets", with the other cats, but he's a big ole lover boy with his mommies. He has a condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia, nothing that hurts him or shortens his life, he tends to have focus issues & his head tremors when focusing. I think it makes him ever more adorable. This being one reason we adopted him, people want "perfect" too much, we like "unique". Second reason, Boo Boo (Baxter) needed a playmate. He's a big rough houser & the girls just weren't interested. Boo Boo has met his match.

#2 - I volunteer at a STUPENDOUS new animal rescue, called Speranza Animal Rescue. This rescue is mostly dogs, and mostly pit bull or pit bull mixes. The owner, Janine Guido, is all heart. She dedicates 100% of her time to taking care of, socializing & just loving on these dogs. Most come from battered lives & need rehabilitation. Every dime comes from her pocket or donations. #3 - Our Pet Communicator, Angie Zimmerman, came to visit (BS = Before Sonny) and we learned so many interesting facts about our fur babies.

~Punkin is a princess & likes everything to go her way ♥ We also found out why she is so petrified of fans :(

~ Reesey loves "kissy kissy" and cuddle time. We needed insight on her stomach issues, which was very informative.

~ Mocha doesn't like to be pet because it feels like shocks to her but she just loves being around us & listening to conversations.

~ Baxter He was a hoot!! He wanted to know why we took his "manhood"? LOL Luckily we explained it wasn't us, it was done before he came to us. He was ok with that.

There was so much more amazing information that just blew us away. Angie is wonderful & we are so thankful to have a connecction with her.

#4 Recently we've been having aggression issues with Sonny, to the point he has caused numerous cuts on a few of the other family members, but especially princess Punkin. This makes me very sad. I spent many nights in tears trying to figure out a remedy. We love them all but we can't have any living in fear in their own home. I contacted Jackson Galaxy, well not him personally, his website. I found Spirit Essence, holistic remedies for animals. I've purchased the "Ultimate Peacemaker" and am counting down the days until it arrives. I will be sure to update you & let you know how it works. I'm hoping to find them sitting around the fireplace, holding paws & singing Kumbaya. ♪♫♪♫
